1979 cj5 258 exhaust manifold help

this jeep had a horrible exhaust leak, replaced the donut thinking that would solve it. NOPE- there are 2 bolts between the carb and the valve cover that bolt the intake manifold to the exhaust manifold, one of them is stripped out allowing it to still leak. I looked in the hole and it looks like it is an oval shape. Is this something that can be repaired or has some kind of fix or should I toss it out and get another one?
