1977 CJ7 Fuel Filler Hose and Vent Hose

I bought an old CJ7 as a project/hobby and I have replaced the gas tank and skid plate ... but I cannot find a place to buy a new fuel filler hose or vent hose. Apparently they changed the setup from from 76 to 77 and then changed it again in 78 so 1977 was an odd year.

I can't be the only person who has had this problem ... is there a work around? Can I replace the fuel filler neck and then use different hoses? Does someone make stock spec hoses for it?

I would appreciate hearing from other 77 CJ7 owners who have replaced the hoses to get some ideas!

Hosed in Florida.

Maybe take the old one to your local "auto jerks" and see if you can get one that's close?

4wd Hardware (4WD.com) has the hoses you need, unless someone swapped in a different tank. The molded hose fits best, as it's got a couple of tight bends in the fill hose, and a hole for the vent hose nipple.

If you have a filler neck with two connections, one for the vent line and one for the fuel fill line, just go buy some marine fuel line of the right diameter and that will work just fine. Marine fuel line has a metal spiral wire wrap so it can make bends without any issues.

I Have A 75 Cj5 That Had The Fuel Fill Moved From The Rear Factory Location, To The Side. I Am Now In Need Of A 2-1/2 Inch Diameter Flexible Fuel Line To Reconnect The Tank To The Opening And Be Able To Attach The Overflow Tube To The Side Of This Hose As Well. Any Advise?

Check the post right above yours. They have an area for replacement parts.
BTW - their parts catalogs are sent out free and mine sits next to the camode (only quiet time I get).

that chains isn't local to me in the NorthEast. If you have a link to an online part number that would be huge, or if you're willing to get those Z shaped filler vent hoses and hook a few of us up.....
