1977 CJ7 doors on a 1984 CJ7

Will full steel 1977 doors work on my 86? I am hoping they do as I found a set that I like.

They will fit, but you will need to remove the strikers off your 84 and reinforce the bodyside with some metal where the 1977 doors latch onto it.

Generally, what you are doing is seen as taking a step backwards.
This is how NAXJA Midwest Chapter elected officials like to treat their resident users and former multi-year supporters.
