Once my finances are back in order, read: I have a job, I'm going to go with a gold color. I really like the metallic gold I got from a spray can, so I will try to get as close to what I have now as possible. The last pic you can see that I have to replace the whole section of the back of the tub. Oh joy.

I don't know that I have more work to show for my build than you. My Jeep got a steering wheel in it for the first time in 2 years this past weekend

Work looks good. Threads like this make me thankful that my PO wasn't a 'Jedi Wiring Master' and the only thing we can really find to hold against him is that he greased the heck out of everything, including stuff that shouldn't have really been greased. I'm of course partial to the brown myself even though mine is the Sable Brown Metallic. I found a place online that can reproduce my paint and I think it was ~150 a gallon so let me know if you'd like their info for your own purposes.

$150 is reasonable. I'll definitely take the info whenever you get time. I'll pimp the gold until I can get the body work and paint started/completed, which means I actually buy a daily driver better suited for kids and turn this into a weekend toy.

Not really much done. I did install the front fenders, though.

They do look good I must say, and I am putting a close up of the tire just for you, jcal.

I reluctantly have my CJ up for sale, due to some unforeseen financial issues.

Here are some more pics:

Traded the CJ for a 1998 XJ sport. That will help with the kid situation. I know I will miss my CJ, but it wasn't feasible as a DD for me right now. I will get another one eventually. Good bye, Betsy.

Next up, Project Airborne. The new to me XJ needs some attention.
