1976 CJ5 Windshield Troubles!!!!

My father and I have been restoring a 1976 CJ5. One of the issues we have run into is the windshield hinges. Our main objective was to remove the hinges for prep and paint. Most of the bolts were removed with ease. Then we ran into a problem. Two of the bolts that are secured within the windshield (this includes the driver and passenger side combined) were stripped and one actually had an allen wrench tip broken off within the torque bolt head. This was a present left from the previous owner. I was able to drill out the two bolts mentioned above but the nuts/bracket within the windshield came loose and disappeared out of sight. I left the last bolt alone for the time being. My question for all of you is what can I do in this situation? To my knowledge the windshield will not disassemble. Any tips from the experienced are welcomed!

Do a search for "Nutsert inserts".
