1975 cj5 insurance
any ideas on getting insurance on a completetly restored CJ5 1975 - full coverage, not just liability
Just call your local car insurance agent-they should be able to help. You might ask for stated value insurance policy. I have full coverage from State Farm on my 74-it is modified, but not restored. Read the fine print closely-for instance-Progressive will not let you drive off an improved road and cover you.
If it's restored and your driving it on weekends/holidays and not wheeling it you can get Antique car insurance. There are a couple outfits that do this. They will insure it for much more than the Bluebook value (which is probably like $500). They basically have annual mileage restrictions. I can't think of any names but I'm sure someone here will. Or do a search of antique car insurance. This is what the guy's with streetrods/showcars do.
Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.
