1969 DJ5A fuel tank

Do the CJ and DJ share a common fuel tank?I have a 69 DJ5A and need a fuel tank.

I'll have to pull it.Will get it out this weekend if I can use my hand.Nearly broke it yesterday on a manual winch mounted on this little pile of scrap.

yea.Ordered a superwinch(LT2000 for $67 delivered) for it after the redneck boat winch of death tried to rip my hand off.

that sucks man i just got mine back up and running today gunna see about fixing the brakes tomorrow and goin and slingin a little mud hopefully

A '69 CJ tank is under the drivers seat. I beleive the DJ tank is in the back like '70.5 and up CJ's are.

need dj5a pics.

I just bought a DJ5A last month from a junkyard. 1969 I think?
does anyone have any stock pictures of the engine area , left and right sides. Mine was missing pretty much everthing except the engine block tranny and transfer case.I'm trying to rebuild it to original. The engine is a f134.
