1967 CJ-5 Water Temp guage/sensor install????

I have a 1967 jeep CJ-5 with the Buick dauntless V-6 225. none of the guages work because its old, but I want to install a new mechanical coolant temp guage so i can know if the engine overheats. Does anyone here know where the sensor goes into the engine??? If you could let me know I would really appreciate it! I want to drive her around, but I need to install this gauge first.
