1961 CJ 5 New Project!

I have recently had the luck of picking up a 1961 CJ5 with a great tub and frame and not much else. I am starting the collection of parts and am wanting advice from people that have done this type of project before. I currently have the entire body and frame rolling around on the stock spicer 27 front and dana 44 rear. I have picked up a dana 20 tcase, a SM 465 transmission and am on the lookout for a chevy 4.3. I havent decided on the axles but am leaning toward a ford 8.8 rear and hp30 in the front. I am planning on a saginaw steering conversion. What I am looking for is any input on what to do to the Jeep while I am in this build process. Things that would help me out, special modifications that would help make a better finished product, basically anything anyone thinks they wish they would have done in their build or any info that will help me in this long journey. Thanks all!

Good luck on the build! I'm working on a '59 myself. Sent you a pm on some parts.
