Being a west coast guy, it never ceases to amaze me the level of rust encountered in other parts of the US, and the level of patience and work you guys put into rebuilding them brick by brick.

Yeah, I'm originally from SoCal - Didn't see rusted cars till I moved to the South.

Looks like the one from Hartsville. Nice score. PM me before you trash the fenders!

You are right there. Mine has very little surface rust on the frame and that is it.

Yeah - It's from Hartsville - Not sure if I'm going to trash the fenders yet.

Hard top salvageable?

Looks like it... Only a couple of small "through spots..."

The worst is the front fenders and floor pans. There's also nice and wasps living in the engine compartment.

Good luck. Luckily, parts are cheap and these things are stupid simple to work on. I've got an M38a1 torn apart now.

Yeah, parts are definitely cheap for the CJ's... So many made.

Getting some Rust Converter and Encapsulator from Eastwood.

Not sure what a build log is... Pretty new to this level of work. I've just done the necessary repairs to keep mine on the road
