Great Job, my collection of old Jeeps is growing almost as fast as yours....lucky we don't live in close proximity because we'd be competitors for that rusty gold. Crawled the thread.

I've got a 51' CJ3A that's getting a frame up rebuild, a 47' CJ2A (parts Jeep), just picked up another 50' CJ3A today which runs and drives, whoohoo! An 89' MJ on 35s, a stock 88' MJ, a 98' 5.9 ZJ (third one, just gave one to my brother). But a flood came last night and washed away some of my 51' parts...I'm a little disheartened but not deterred. Love your thread man keep it up!

You're lucky. Now matter what I did, heat, pullers, PB blaster, the shackles on my 51' would not come off. I ended up cutting them off with a grinder. Now I've got to get new shackles as well as new eyelet bushings all the way around. Gonna have to burn the remnants of the shackles out.
