Nope, at least not for the first 3hrs... I dont think it would be any different than a plastic gas can. I thought Styrofoam was what gas ate through, not plastic..

Idk? I've drained gas before and had it eat or deform plastic. Maybe its only certain kinds of plastic? Either way just be careful with it, I'd hat to see it eat through your concrete driveway.

Update.... 13hrs later, for future reference the Folger's can made it, but at least a 1/4 of the gas had evaporated over night.

I like to use kerosene.

For medium and small parts, I keep a large (20mm) ammo can handy. You can put the lid on and let them soak with no fumes.

Also, for rusty stuff, I've had some success with electrolytic cleaning.

Yep, no work on Ray last night. I had to finish running cable to the storm cellar. I promised my wife I would get it done before Tornado season got here. I have to sneak in Honey-do's now and again.
