I'll start by saying this will be a slow process. My plans are to restore the 1953 CJ-3B back to the factory look. I've been searching CL for a while now looking for a 3B. For some reason they are my favorite Model. I like the High Hood & Willys stamped on the Grill. Heres what I found. I went after the 3B but the guys wanted rid of both so I made an offer on the 2A and he took it. The 3B will be dubbed "Ray" after my Grandpa. I already have a 71 CJ5 named "Dorothy" after my grandma (see build thread for story) http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f8/19...rothy-1122276/
and the 2A gets the name of "Maude". When I took the 2A my thoughts were to sell it for a quick profit, but my oldest Daughter likes it..... I guess will see. After a 5hr road trip I'm home and time to unload.

Ray is in the Garage. The engine has been ran recently; It has a newer battery, fresh looking oil and the voltage regular looks new. So the first order of business is the make sure the engine will fire off before I strip the tub off the frame. Seats out and Hood off.

Nice find! They look like good additions to your collection. Can't wait to see how they turn out.

Lights work, Maggie and my youngest helped today. I tinkered with the engine for a few hours trying to get it too start all I got was a back fire..... So I moved on to fender and tub removal.

Slows the process down, but well worth it.

Fender off, Steering Wheel off, and all but 2 body mount bolts out. They will need a saw-zall. Maybe the tub can come off in the next couple of days if I can get some help.

Not sure what to think about the 2A, I think it may be beyond what I want to mess with, but for now it will just go under the shed i guess.

The Lovely Bride, Dorothy, & Maggie helped me put the 2A up this afternoon when we got home from Church. She drove while I steered.

That's so cool! Both are great. I like them both, but I'm really liking the 2A with the top and fence! Great find.
