Well, at least my Jeep is acting normally, turn signals don't work now, went through 3 flashers.. Got a new signal box last weekend, see if that fixes anything.

speaking of last weekend, I took the Hammer to the 3rd Annual Willys Jeep Gathering, near Westminster Maryland and got a trophy for best "work in progress".

yeah thanks mike, it was nice to meet you.

Btw, anyone if you were there and got a picture or video of the Hammer pulling out our full size Chevy Truck with a 3000 lb trailer attached (~8,000lbs total), out of the mud, near the end of the show....I would love to have some of those pictures!

HOOD IS DONE!!

Took 5 hours to do. I had to cut the area around the captured nuts out, fab up some metal to fit, weld nuts of the back side, then tack weld the piece back on. Hood opens and closes with out catching now, after a lot of running back and forth.

Next doors.

Awesome,
I'm also going to have to repair the welded nuts on my hood. Do you have any close-ups of your repair method?
Soon as I locate some door glass, I also will re-assemble my doors, so you better get that camera warmed up.

Ha. . .man you already have snow!!!

It's been super mild here this winter. . .we didn't even have a frost until this week. . .thank God!!! It got old having to put chains on to get out of my driveway and our private road and then get out and take them off once we got to the highway. . .once or twice wouldn't have been a biggy, but having to do it every morning at 6AM on the way to work blew!!!

Looking Good!. . .made some good progress on my '49 and hoping to have it running by the end of the month! Check out the thread. . .I think you should be able to get to it by clicking on my username pretty quick. I'll be posting new pictures tomorrow I believe. . .

Jake, are you going to reinstall the trim piece down the middle of the hood? I saw one pic with steering wheel missing a hunk. Did you find another? I have a black one in good shape if you want it. Doors would be nice. I met you at Mason Dixon, I'm the guy you didn't bring the wheels to. ralf.
