yeah it kinda does...no exhaust yet

My neighbor today said that he heard it from his place, 1 mile away! I also think it sounds like it does because the timing is too late (explains the lack of power in high gear) but driving it yesterday

I want to do it again but its raining out. Well I guess thats a good enough reason to do a bit of work inside

I have to ask, did you figure out what caused the sudden left hand turn and get it resolved? I was real glad that you didn't end up through the fence. The way that the camera wobbled around, I thought it was going to be much worse than it was!

yeah it crashed because I forgot the nut that held the pitman arm on..."DOAH"

when it hit, it started to CLIMB UP THE FENCE!!! And I bailed like 10 seconds before it crashed...my friend jumped out like 1/2 a second before. No injuries, just a burst ego and a loose fence post!

Well, it could of been alot worse, thank goodness it wasn't. And look on the bright side, better to have that happen in the field than on the road! And you learned a valuable lesson too, I bet you will NEVER forget that nut ever again on this, or any other project for that matter

! My guess was that you forgot to tighten it. Looking at your pics, it looks like no damage to the truck, which is good too. I love the fence post picture, you couldn't have hit it any more centered if you had aimed for it

!

So, what you going to tackle next?

My seat would have been something along these lines...

Great job. The whole truck looks great and has a great personality. It has been fun watching your progress and I will continue to check back for updates. How has the liner held up? It looked like it went down well.

yeah! its actually a Coke-a-Cola bottle crate from the local plant! it is just the right height

I should make a cooler as the center console! bring a hole new meaning to drink holder

Update: waiting on Brown Truck....

The bed liner has held up great! It really deadens sound too. My Jeep sounds like a Honda when you rap in the panels (just knock on you neighbors Honda you will know what I mean)
