1947 Seating Question (newbie)

Hey Guys,
I just purchased my first cj5. It came in very bad shape, but I got a good deal. The person who owned it previously did allot of damage. The seats they installed are from a dodge caravan or something. I have searched the internet over and am at a loss of where to get replacements or what will fit. I would like to install something that will give me access to the lower storage bin and allow me to have safer seats with head rests.. Any help would be much appreciated!

Your thread title reads "1947 seating", but you ask questions about a CJ5. I see in your user title that you've got a 1974, so I'll assume the thread title is a typo and you're asking questions about a 1974 CJ5.

If that is the case, there are several aftermarket options available, or you can even find original seat frames and have them recovered. Your best bet is to check here: www.earlycj5.com and www.earlycj5.com/classifieds
