1946 Willys on Craigslist (Not mine)

Ran across this today on Craigslist. 1946 CJ2a, $1400. I know nothing about these jeeps, but that sounds like a pretty good deal?

Yep, looks like somebody came in with a higher offer. I offered the full asking amount and thought we had a deal. Had my buddy ready to pick it up and then got news that somebody else offered more.
This sucks!!!!

The seller sucks. Karma will deliver a swift kick to the jewels.

+1. Hope the new buyer pays him in counterfeit bills. Hate people who don't stick to a deal. Had a guy do that to me on a T176 a couple years ago. We had a deal, then he said "the bid is now $XXX" and I told him to shove it and called him out on both JU and IFSJA websites.

It's just as well. Project 23 would have been jealous of #24, anyway.

That sucks. I posted this when I first saw it and it was literally the third car from the top on Craigslist. I thought I might help a fellow forum member out, I definitely did not want to hurt one.

If you made a deal with him, he should have stuck to it. Character is becoming a rare attribute.
