15x8 vs 15x9 Wheels

Would there be any height difference if I went from a 15x9 wheel to a 15x8? I have 33x12.5 tires.

The advertised position for a topless, dirty jeep girl has been filled......by my wife. Thanks to all that applied.

15" is the diameter, 8/9" is the width of the wheel. So no height diff, just 1" wider wheel.

If they have the same back spacing the 9" will stick out 1" more.

Height, nah.

1/2" more. The other 1/2 would be on the back side. I doubt you'd feel any difference at all. You might THINK you feel a less solid ride.

It would be on the outside as long as backspacing is the same. Don't know those measurements on what he's looking at though.

8" wheels have always worked great for me on 12.5" tires but 9" is just as good.
