1227747 ecm differences

Is there a difference between a ecm from a 4.3 v6 and one from a 350 v8?Some pins are broken in the one I have where the wire connects,so i need to go to the jy and get another. This is going on a 258.I have searched, but did not find an exact answer.

The ECM is the same the chips are different. So pull your old chips and replace them into your new ECM.

??????? ECM?

On your 258, the ECM has gone into limp home mode and is no longer functioning because you do not have a feedback carburetor on there. It can be bypassed easily and even be tossed in the trash to make the timing work properly.

The 258 is a straight six 4.2L engine that does not share much with a 4.3 V6 or a 350 other than the name 'engine' so I really don't understand the cross reference question.

Thanks wireless,I did find that off of the binder site.My broken one is the ABUL.

I have a chip flashed for my engine due to the cam, header and bore.Im glad i can get any 747 and use my flashed chip and the original longer chip in the other slot.I just wasnt 100% sure.
