R13/NHTSA 15V-222 Clutch interlock Switch recall
Just received a notice in the mail saying there is a recall for my Jeep. It says the clutch interlock switch may contain a return spring that fatigues. This could allow the driver to engage the engine starter motor without the clutch pedal being pressed. Year that is affected says 2006 models Liberty, Wrangler, and Viper vehicles with a manual transmission.
My LJ actually has this problem, it will start without the clutch depressed. Yet, my local dealer can't seem to get the part. I have received 4 notices on my LJ, the last two claiming the part was available. Still, can't get an appointment, dealer always claims part is on backorder..... Grrrrr!

Don't piss me off or I will swear at you using the most offensive 4-letter-word that I know....... TORX!!!!
