So I guess every time I'm selling something I should say so?

Thanks. But I never exploit it. I don't go for the free meals on Veteran's Day or take advantage of discounts because of it.
Vietnam was not a popular war, and when we were on leave or were discharged, we wore a hat to hide our haircut and never ever wore our uniform off base. We would get spit on, beat up, cussed at, etc... Very different now.
Salute to your dad and father in law. Glad they came home alive.

Yeah my dad told me story's, he was a sniper and when he came back from his first tour he was treated very badly by people that knew him his whole life, but he never held his head in shame, he was always proud to serve. And you should be proud to.... Our vets should be treated even better then they are. It's because of them I can read and write English, it's because of them I am free to make my own way. When we forget that's America will be lost

Yeah all my friends that turned into hippies while I was in treated my like I was the enemy. I was never ashamed of my service, just the "conscientious objectors" that were in my generation. Now those are everywhere. It's easy when there's no draft to opt out. I am third generation Air Force, well, my grandfather was Army Air Corps (that's what they called it then).
But to exploit it in a Craigslist ad is tacky.

Those hippies that were around towards the end your generation spawned the most god awful offspring imaginable. They spawned what is now hipsters, and their younger sibling hipster college kids, who spew out their inexperienced opinions about every topic possible at coffee shops.

Then I get haggled when I buy an Americano. Something about how I have no taste or something... coming from an idiot wearing a scarf in the middle October on the west coast.

You talking about a maid? Or a mail order bride?

That's strange... In my opinion enjoying a coffee without anything else makes you have more taste
