I always thought it was funny in the late 80s/90s that the trucks were WHITE/GMC or GMC/VOLVO or WHITE/GMC/VOLVO when they all consolidated before GMC got out of the heavy truck business.

"Cranks first turn of key" I would hope so, usually turning the key will make the starter motor crank. So we know it has a functional battery and starter

1996 2wd XJ DD waiting for 4x4 conversion (Totalled, not by me)
1991 2 door XJ waiting to be parted or repaired(sold) Bought it back. Gotta love a 2 door (Sold)

Well if it still has a carbed motor then starting first turn is really good.
