Saw this a few days back. I got a pretty good chuckle which was no doubt the intended result.

I guess the folks in TX and FL have to keep a good sense of humor ... that truly sucks.

When I was shopping around for XJs, I saw one that wound up having stage 4 rust cancer EVERYWHERE. Every exposed piece of metal inside was even covered in rust. I told my pop when we left that it looked like someone had driven it into a lake and left it there for a year. Too bad this seller was serious!

Best yet the guy wanted $2800 for it and the listing only said the paint needed a little touching up. "It was gonna be my project jeep but I just never found the time."

Asking all the dumb questions so you don't have to!

Or, I bought it as a project but....don't have the time right now...riiight

Do you know what was good about the good old days? I wasn't good, And I wasn't old!

Great deal on some TJ doors. Only $500 for both! I'm sure you'll come out ahead after painting and replacing all of the destroyed parts. What a joke.

I was actually considering them for the $275 advertised in the title.

Those doors have been in a fire. Fire changes metal. Unless you know how to seal the metal in these doors do not waste your time painting them since the paint will not adhere to the metal and will fail. I'd pass on those doors unless I could get them for $100.00 BUT with the knowledge that it will take some extra work to get them painted so the paint will actually stay on the doors

I didn't know that about fire damaged metal. But I think I'd still consider them at $275 or less for BOTH. Not that it matters because he wants $500 for both. You can find good condition doors for that price on the lower end. I'm not sure what they are thinking.

If they're up for a long time maybe I'll make a low offer.
