I'm working right now. I still make sure to get everything done that is needed to be done. Better half only lets me use the computer when she is not using it.

Working now too! Have dial up at home, so its a no go on surfing there. Better to get paid for surfing JF anyway.

I work as a stage hand at a live theatre and there are days we have a 3 hour break where we get paid b/c we're on standby in case the client wants to do a sound check or something, so everyone including my boss brings a laptop and still gets paid to screw around online or watch movies. It's pretty nice being able to come on here

I do occasionally depending on our activity level for the day. Weekends are slow so I usually bring a movie or read.

ahah same boat, someone thought it would be a good idea to make a dedicated ALS unit one weekend for a client (large hospital network) as we are contracted for their ALS transports (not CCT) so basically just cardiac monitor and potential for invasive treatment enroute. We sat for the 36 hours as mentioned above, while the other crews got ran like non other. The next week we found that dedicated unit was no longer dedicated.

I tend to stick to what they pay me to do at work.

*I understand some of you can surf the internet during your down time, but I am sure others wouldn't do it if your boss was watching

Guilty, I work on a offshore tug and barge that is currently going from Puerto Rico to St. Croix Virgin Islands, we work 12 hour shifts and I work the night shift so I do a little JF surfing, when we are not doing cargo transfers.
