I myself have never been in a relationship, but I think it gives me an advantage. Observing couples throughout high school, I have come to a theory. Women don't know what they want. And guys are worse. (most anyway) they don't have a clue on how to treat women, or worse, they think they do and completely screw it up. Men are from mars and women are from venus my ***... They're both not from this galaxy. And why do the pretty ones always have high standards? :(

I can just see D and B cruisin the strip and pickin
'em up in their Jeeps.:D

Poseidon, did anything happen yet?
As the other guys said, I too agree. Go for it. It's not like your going to see her for the rest of your life and she'll always think "there's the loser who thought he had a chance". No way. Good luck.:)

Poseidon, I think you should just go for it. You never know until you try. Hey, there are plenty of couples that wouldn't ever be together if they never gave it that first shot!
And if she turns you down, then she wasn't the one you'd want anyway....

Good luck!! Here's hoping that she's a Jeep chick, too!!! :)

Mr. Bill, you're probably right on that point -- I'm sorry to say. When a guy treats a girls nice, the girl thinks there's something wrong with him (He must be gay!) How can a GUY be so nice?? But, when a guy treats a girl not-so-nice, then she thinks "that's because he's a GUY, and that's how GUYS are... Which is a bunch of bullsh*t!!
I've got friends in marriages that are going on 25 years (yikes!) and they still get along like the first day they met! Which is a wonderful thing -- I wish I had that too! But, there's got to be some conflict to keep things interesting! I don't mean have knock-down, drag-out fights to keep it interesting, but there's gotta be someone in the relationship who thinks for themselves and doesn't become a clone of the other...
There's just gotta be a happy medium somewhere -- and if anyone knows where that is -- please share with the rest of the class!!!

Great line from a Jack Nicolson movie. When asked how he knew women so well, he replied...

"I just think of a man, then subtract all reasoning and accountability."

That pretty much sums it up. :D

That's too bad about the book wormy ugly ducklings. I have known them also and it's a crime that after being treated that way they would ever want to ttreat someone else that way. You would suspect that they would be the last person to do such a thing. But, it all comes full circle on ya one day so it serves you best to be kind to others.....no matter if they have something to offer you or not. That's the way I see it.

Yup, be nice to all and even if it seems bad in the start, it will come back to be good.:D

Wow! I'm seriously impressed with the male insight on this subject. :) Good job guys! Just remember this when it comes to women: we've all got self-esteem issues, we (like you) like it when people are honestly interested in us, and we're all human (no matter how devastatingly gorgeous).

IMHO, being smart (ie bookworm) just makes a lady that much more attractive. Look at it this way, why would you want to be with a gorgeous woman who can only talk about eyeliner and the latest episode of soap operas? Instead you could be with someone who is just as pretty (maybe not wearing as much make-up and slutty clothes), but who can also carry on an adult conversation.

Besides, if we marry a really smart ones who work, they could support our Jeep habit! :D ;)

I go for the beautiful ones with goals. My current gf is hot as hell, (a little short 5'3"), but has great goals. She wants to go to Law School after she graduates. She just has the awesome set of goals that she wants to accomplish, and that makes her even better, because she has all this ambition. Plus the killer body doesn't hurt;) :D

How tall are you KTJ? My wife is 5'4" and I'm 6'0"; there's nothing wrong with a short one!

Law school, eh? That's cool, maybe she can fight to keep public lands open!
