Wireless for PS3?

How do you get your PS3 to work with wireless internet? I got a Playstation from good ol' Saint Nick was wondering if this is possible.

Thanks!

Haha! Ask him then! I'm a little old school and at work. So can't look at the manual. No, not playing the ps3 at work. Just thought of it now is all.

I received a PS3 too. You need to have a wireless router first of all. If you have one go to the internet settings all the way to the lefton main screen, then scroll down to the last option. You will be able to scan for the wireless system. Pick yours. If you have it locked you will need to know the code. Use all other default answers. It will then test the connection.

I have not had to call but from what I understand PS3 support is awesome. Just call them and thay can walk you thru it.

Same here, got it the march after they came out. But like everyone else said, go under network settings and it will pretty much walk you through it. Just make sure if you have any WEP security codes or anything like that, that they are written down so you can type them in when it asks.

Thought about that, but I haven't filled the 60 gig yet since I keep all of my music/picture/videos on a 500 gig portable hardrive that I can plug into the PS3. And congrats on purchasing the best blu-ray/gaming system on the market OP
