depends on the wording of the question, as that was the biggest hindrance to plane on a treadmill...

and just because I love it so much

Right, I'm going with yes.

The helicopter is an EH101 Merlin which has a main rotor rpm of between 200 and 400.

The turntable is a Numark TTUSB which only goes up to 45 rpm.

So provided the EH101 can take off at 355rpm or lower (which seems likely), it should be able to take off even if the turntable is at max speed, though admittedly the pilots are likely to be pretty dizzy

... yes, I was bored.

I agree it will take off, but wouldn't the final rotor speed be between 245 rpm and 445 rpm? ie don't both the rotor and the turntable both spin clockwise when viewed from above? Therefore the rpms would combine not subtract.

The turntable definitely spins clockwise, but I'm pretty sure the EH101's blades spin counter clockwise;

Check out the rotor shape, the trailing edge definitely indicates a counter clockwise rotation, as does the shape of the rotor's tip.
