This is going to turn into a (You have two nice vehicles but your wife drives a beater) thread very fast. So O.P you should explain that this is not the case/ if indeed it isn't.

She has a 05 chrysler town and country that she wants to keep so its easier for the dog to go with (130lbs giant Schnauzer) And when we bought the mini van she just HAD to have it to be soccer mom (dident pan out that way) so yes she does have a nice car. Oh I forgot to mention I sold my drag car to purchase the jeep. And no the truck dont give BJs but guess you are not married as wifes dont give them either.

So she has a town and country? If so, tell her she can trade it off for something the dog fits in.

+1 on not trading it in. The stealership will not want to give you crap for it and in todays market used vehicles don't seem to be going for much either. Point out to her that by getting rid of the truck you will be losing a massive amount of money on it in todays economy.

My 95 pound Husky hops into my girlfriends mini cooper fine and rides around in it all the time. I don't have a giant schnauzer but you don't have to have a mini van to carry around one dog.

yeah sell the Mini Van. The truck sounds wicked nice. almost like my dream truck. i'm only 17, so i don't know much about this thing you call marriage, but it sounds like she's taking your manhood. tell her to trade in the mini van for the car she wants. and tell her, that if you HAVE to trade/sell the truck, road dome for the next five years(or as much as you want) whenever you too drive....is this too explicit for JF?

With the precedent that the attitudes are setting in here, I'm not surprised. How many toys do you really need?
