Wife had a wreck this morning

I came close to losing my wife this morning. She was on her way to work, and going down a 2 lane road, just before daylight, going about 50mph. Crossed over a bridge and there were 3 BIG black cows crossing the road. She slammed on her brakes and dodged one, but hit the other 2. One hit one headlight and the other cow hit the opposite headlight. And somehow another, the cow on the driver's side swung around and hit right behind the drivers door. Totaled the truck completely, airbags deployed, etc. (1997 F150). She came out with barely a scratch. I'll have some pics later.

Glad she's OK. You wanna watch those black cows; around here, they're the biggest ones. Only thing worse is hitting a buffalo.

I have a few employees who live in Baldwyn....I work in Tupelo.

Again...glad she is ok....in the past few months I have seen a lot of cows getting out of their pastures....not sure what the deal is lately.

Wow, she's lucky! I had a friend in college who hit a cow while driving a 70's-era VW Beetle. With virtually no protection up front, the results weren't pretty. She was in the hospital for two months and had to learn to walk again.

Same thing happened to a friend of mine wayyyy back in the lates 60's. He was driving a Corvair, came around a curve and smacked into six cows standing in the road. Needless to say the car was totaled. Luckily he was eventually ok.
