Why dont these people who live in snow country know how to drive in the snow?
I was driving in front of a car, in about 12.25 inches of fresh powder when i saw his lights veer off to the side and then saw reverse lights for a while. So i turned around and asked if he needed help, he was nose first in a ditch sunk in snow and soft dirt... He was attempting (to no avail) to shove the floormat under the front drivers side wheel and drive out on it.o i dug for the tow rope, hooked it onto his rear tow loop thing under the bumper, hooked the other end up to my front tow hook, and pulled him out... Then he asked if i smoked weed and if i wanted some. ...anyway, he was unstuck and on his way... Pics (didnt get any of the event taking place, but they show the depth) ![]() Yes, I was wearing shorts...It's laundry day and it was clear when i left for work ![]() ![]() mesures 12.25 inches

From my perspective, most people can't drive on a good day either!

Those are the same people they call "Snowbirds" that fly south for the winter but this year, they ran out of money and couldn't go so they have no idea what they are doing up here or anywhere in the snow. We have them everywhere here--I just flip them off when I go by (even if they don't do anything wrong-
)

Are those monsterous platform shoes or did you mean an inch and a half of fresh powder? ![]() I love how everyone exagerates the actual depth of snow. And the fact that no matter how much I say I got at my house, whoever I'm talking to claims at least two more inches at their house. Is this some sort of a competition that I'm not aware of? I mean, really, it is what it is. Don't piss in the wind and tell me its raining...

look at the table. Looks like it snowed various ammounts at different locations. The ammount of table on the snow is quite a bit more then he's sticking his foot in.
I wouldn't stick my foot in deep snow either if I was wearing shorts. I don't blame the guy haha.

The same reason why people who live in the city can't drive in the city. Most people, under most conditions, can't F***in' drive anyways.

Well, part of it is that they have a huge offroad vehicle to get to the mall. They've never take it offroad and they already have the confidence they can handle anything. So they drive 65 in a 45mph area with 1' of snow and expect to be able to stop as if it was a bright dry sunny day.
Atleast that's my perspective.

No, I don't smoke weed anymore.
No I wasn't about to stick my foot in the deep spot, that was just where i parked to close my tailgate all the way when it was rattling... And i measured the snow on the table when i left for work this morning... 12 1/4 inches, not quite a foot and a half....do you want me to edit my original post to be more acurate? ![]() |
