And that's just Camden

Everywhere else (unless the area you're in ends in City, i.e. Union City, Jersey City) is pretty much okay. We'll blame New York on the Arthur Kill thing.

Keep New Jersey beautiful, go litter in New York!

California simply rocks - great beaches, great offroading, you can go skiing in the morning and surfing in the afternoon, the Playboy Mansion, Borrego Springs, Disneyland (although Disney World is cooler) and millions of other reasons. I've lived in Canada, Illinois, Texas and Cali.....I have no intention of moving out any time soon.......although I would buy an investment property in a different state...cheaper that way......

Whistler would be nice, but I'm looking forward to snow in the Rockies this year vs Sierra snow. I'm thinking: Park City, UT, Crested Butte, CO, or Jackson Hole, WY.
Park City is fun and the pipe and park are amazing. There are some great backcountry spots there too. Snowbird is favorite resort in Utah - lots of steeps and does not get as crowded as PC. Park City gets really crowded too now that the Olympics were there. I really want to check out Jackson Hole soon too. Someone should start a snowboarding/skiing thread. After reading this one I am going through snow withdrawel - I can't wait for the start of winter.

If Kali were to fall off in the Pacific tomorrow I would not shed a tear (I would go ahead and clap if LA and SF would just sink into the ground and disappear). IMO no other cities in the nation have such a huge number of human scum living in them. I know there are a lot of good places and good people in Kali but it would still be dead last as a place I would ever even consider living. Commie politics, overpopulation, crime, high cost of living, pollution, stringent STUPID laws that penalize everyone but the criminals....and Hollywood. Yep, definately needs to go away. Wish Mexico would take it back. Someone earlier in this thread said "Most southern states are poorly educated.". Public schools suck everywhere. I'd home school my kids or send them to private school; no way I'd give them to the brainwashing socialists running PRK schools.
As for the "I've been through Alabama many times and I can tell you there are vast areas of nothing between towns", wouldn't this be a GOOD thing? I'd much rather see undeveloped land than another run down mini-mall with a bunch of drug dealers and human garbage hanging around.

Bama is cool but Cali is too. If you are into surfing and snowboarding California has the best of both worlds. And the surf babes rule.

No reason to bring the fine state of New Jersey into this.
Even though California is some kind of bizarro world version of NJ.

I'm ok with N. Korea using the ENTIRE west coast as testing grounds for their nukes.
I've lived in California and travelled thru Alabama several times and would pick NJ over both of them.
