lets not forget cali's famous for the "this product is known to contain chemicals that cause birth defects in california" anti-lawsuit phrase

Why are left-wing idiots better than right-wing idiots?? They BOTH suck.

Bite your tongue...or gum it if no teeth left! I like a little tea with my sugar, thank you. And, for the record...best tea in the world:

Not quite as good as getting it in person at the Beacon, but they do a good job recreating it. They sell more iced tea than anywhere else in America!

Why California sucks? Here are just a few of the many reason that come to
my mind.

Nancy Pelosi
Dianne Feinstein
Barbara Boxer
Dennis Cardoza
Susan Davis
Robert Matsui
Grace Napolitano
Maxine Waters
The list goes on and it reads like a who's who of hard left kooks.
I've spent a lot of time in various parts of California. I spent 6 weeks in San Fran,
3 months in San Diego and many weeks in cities in between. For the life of me, I
still don't understand how these nuts get elected.

California is a beautiful state with lots of great people. It's the politics and
freaky special interests groups that create the suck factor.

We are the only place that has good sweet tea. And I have excellent teeth.

Alabama sucks because they named Sunday October 2nd as "Rusty Wallace" day, even though he is horrible at Talladega.

Ok, really, it is a nice place to visit. Going there this weekend actually. . . to Talladega.

I've lived in Cali. Here's what I liked about it:
Geography - close to ocean, mountains, desert
Activities - lots to do in both urban and rural areas, shopping, skiing, hiking, sailing, people watching etc.
Weather - generally great year round
Sold my home for NICE profit

Here's what I hated:
People's attitudes!
Everything in soCal is brown after late March/April until November
LA traffic
SF traffic
SD traffic
Bakersfield traffic
higher taxes on EVERYTHING. Why is loaf of bread over $3.00?????
long distances to nearly everything. My 2002 car had 30,000+ miles after 1 year!
Earthquakes
People's homes sliding down a hill, granted they probably deserve it for building on basically a SAND hill...

Would I go back? Probably only to visit.

Now I live in Alabama (Huntsville). Here's what I like:
IT IS GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People are generally nice (not always the smartest, but Alabama people are 'off' just as much as CA people tend to be 'stuck up, spoiled, and arrogant'
Cost of living a HUGE plus
Real estate prices much easier to contend with
Low traffic
Only hours from the Gulf, but not so close to have to worry about hurricanes as much
Close to the Appalachains
Close to all my family
Alabama also has several auto plants, including Hyundai (Montgomery), MB (??), Toyota, others?
GREAT BBQ - California has no clue about good BBQ, or TexMex

Things about Alabama I don't like:
Bubbas, but they're not too bad around Huntsville.
Sweet Tea - have to remember to ask for unsweet tea
Smoking in public restaurants (being phased out)
Tornadoes/inconsistent weather

Keep moving forward. But keep an eye on history, for if you don't, you are doomed to repeat it.

That's just a nasty rumor. If you marry your sister in Alabama you get put in jail. Trust me.
