I'm sure the chrome plating really helps the strustural integrity of the springs and all too....

Man that was cool back in the 80s though.... well it wasn't but a lot of people thought it was...

well you see the chrome is verry smooth there for it is easier to get the mud off i guess

As soon as anything on that vehicle movest the chrome just chips off anyway :S.

Pointless idea, but it does look nice hehe.

Have any more pictures of that thing? Is it really a Jeep?

Everything is chromed on that thing! even the brake parts and leaf springs! what a waste of money!

AMCrazy.89 Xj, 2 door, 4.0, select-trac, aw4 tranny with manual shift switches and torque converter lock up, 6" of lift, 32x11.5 bfg mudders, on board air, tj flares, SYE, pre runner front bumper, rock sliders, roof rack, axle truss' hella and eagle eye lights, truck bed liner paint job, rci seats and harness' cobra cb, K&N cone, m.o.r.e. motor mounts, etc...

Guessing from the support bracket going out to the frontside inner lip of the rear wheelwell I'd say it's a pre 90s back to mid 70's chevy/gmc... but I'm open to suggestion
