Who's your daddy?

I'm a dad! Holy crap! I thought I was ready, but I had no idea. This is incredible.
My first born, a son, Sean Michael Kelley, was born 10/19.
So happy, so proud. Words can't describe this feeling.
Just thought I would share.

Way to go, now stop trying before you end up with a girl.
Ditto on the sleep thing. I thought I knew about sleep deprivation from the Navy, my son smoked them. I don't remember sleeping more than a 3 hours at a time. Just remember, when he sleeps, you sleep. You can do other stuff at 3am while he is awake.

congrats. and your right, it doesn't matter how ready you thought you were. you are never ready enough.

kiss sleep good bye, kiss a lot of the toys good bye and most of all, get friendly with your hand cause its gonna be a while before your knocking boots again with the little woman.

it seems like a lot of work now, but its over way to fast and the stuff they do as they grow will just stun you. my boy is 9, he played baseball for the first time this summer on a team and was one of the best players they had. he started skating last year and picked it up faster than i would believe. he has never stopped amazing me.
