Who went toolin' in the snow today!?

Just checking to see who went and fooled around in the snow today. I know I did! (Eastern PA)

My night class professor didnt cancel class like every other snow fearing sedan driver (wierd) so i had to attend class with the other 5 0f 30 dedicated students hahaha.

As soon as I got out I practically RAN to my TJ.

2 inches of slippery snow+ me + TJ + empty college parking lot =???

You guessed it! Doughnuts, fishtails, and driving over grassy curbs having a blast! hahaha. Ohh it definitely put a smile on my face.

I actually had a 'slide' off with a buddy of mine and his Tacoma. I won.

His puny tires cant get over the curbs without breaking somehting hahaha.
GO JEEP!

any stories fellas?

How was your day?

I got to try out my winch for the first time tonight. Had to pull my wife’s van up the driveway. Drive is about 175 FT then 180 to garage. Had to winch sideways up first half then winch myself out, then back to the van. Finally got it to the top on flat drive and shoveled and hand pushed it into the garage. I had fun but my son wanted to just leave it. After about an hour of that I had a BIG road drink then still had to carry 30 buckets of water to the horses. So how was your day?

You have a new winch! Its a good day for you!

My days can not and will not compare to yours for some time. I envy your 180ft. driveway and horses. this means you have a nice tract of land. Something I am still dreaming of.

I commend your mini-van rescue, your family values, and your horses.

Ya know we cant all have a jeep, horses, and a driveway like that!

Keep on keepin' on friend.

I guess you could call what I did today "tooling" around in the snow.

At work, there is a 100 foot long deck that is about 5 to 8 feet wide. My job today was to bust the ice covering that said deck. There was about 8 inches (thick, all 100 feet of it) in total, about 3 of that being snow. I was on my hands and knees most of the day breaking that up with my hammer and chisel, as the scraper I was given wasn't doing much but chipping up the cement underneath, and only getting a few inches of ice off at a time. I am still not finished, but I got about 3/4 of it done.

I try not to play on the roads when it is icy. Too dangerous if you ask me.

I will, however, play a ton out in the field on my days off. So much fun

I went out.

Was doing great until I got hung up on a larger bank that my skid plate just sat on and help me from getting any traction.
Took some digging but I got out and home to the warmth.
