When do you put your side windows back in?

I just bought a 98 Wrangler. I've had an old Tracker for the past 3 years and have ran it with a safari type top from June through September for the past 2 years. But I didn't care much if the back got wet in it. With the TJ I do put my son in the back seat so I will care more if it gets wet back there. My question is when do you guys put your rear windows in? Every day or only if it's going to torrentially rain? I have seen some guys with the top sides out in April in Chicago in the rain. I would think that would be a bit chilly. Anyone leave the top sides out in the spring and fall?

I don't own a garage so the windows go in based on the weather. If it's going to rain for a few hours/days everything goes on. A drizzle here and there I'm too lazy to care about. The same goes for the doors.

Windows.... what are those? They must come with that top thing i've been looking for.

Early morning is getting a little chilly with no top/ doors so if I had them its about time to go back in.

I'm gonna be running with the windows out, duster on well into october hopefully. This will be the first time I've tried this set-up.

As for being chilly, with a jacket and the heater on I stay warm enough when the front seats are enclosed on three sides with a top

Whoops. I made this mistake today. No doors, no windows, lucky I had the top up. It has poured down all day today. My bad.

I usually put the back windows in if the night time low consistently dip below 50. Otherwise I am good to go. Oh yeah, the back window goes in at the first snow.
