Wilkes Barre mountain is the stretch between rt 115, 476 and laurel run rd (giants dispair). The highways go around. It's about 5000 acres of land. There's ways in from 115, 81, and laurel run rd.

Nice! I've always wondered where the locals wheel out there every time I take a trip to pa. I will have to check it out. I've seen some trails off along the side of 315 not far from the Mohegan Sun rack track. Are these legal?

No those are just billboard access roads lol. Private land. Everything around the casino is private land. Basically everything on the other side of 81 from the cross valley 309 down to glen Lyon and Berwick is derelict coal and train property. Some is private. As long as you know what's what your ok. Just about every mountain that isn't built on has tails somewhere though
