Wheeling in Alabama

So i'm looking for other members near me to go wheeling with sometime this next month, i'm shipping out for boot camp on the 27 of may and i was wanting to get together and go off-roading with some folks before hand, as i dont know many people in my area with four-wheel drives i figured i'd see if anyone on here wants to go. not sure where to go just yet but i figured we could all discuss it and figure it out.

Thanks for that link. I've been looking around for somewhere to wheel. Thus far, I've only heard of Grey Rock.

There's a place over in Gasden as well. Can't recall the name right off hand. There's also Stony Lonesome OHV which just opened in Cullman.

If you're in north Alabama, you also have Wheelin' in the Country and Wooly's Offroad in southern TN (Both used by Trucks! and Extreme4x4 for their shows as well).

I want to head up to Wheelin in the country sometime soon, but i need recovery points first. I would hate to have to be recovered using my tie rod again....

The place in Gadsden is called Mountainside ORV Park. The people there are really nice too.

If you wanna hit up WITC or Wooly's some time, PM me. I'd be happy to go as long as the schedule allows!

Wouldn't be surprised if some of us HAVE!

I'm thinking about heading up to Turkey Bay in KY 5/15-17, but we'll have to see how much rain that area gets. Otherwise, may do the WITC or Wooly's thing...

For those that know the area, I'm up in the Monrovia area (Jeff/Blake Bottom area - not too far from the Conoco).
