So I went wheelin' for the first time last saturday and I had the time of my life. I was rockin' out with my Jeep and a great copilot and a bunch of great people to wheel with. but now that its Monday Night and I am rethinking the trip, I thought I would ask folks on the forum what music YOU Like to listen to when you are Wheelin'.

I thought the song "Rough and Ready" by Trace Adkins is a great tune, but thats probably because he mentions a "4x4, straight pipe roar" and he talks about a Wrangler. Call me biased, but its the truth.

So, What do you like to rock out to when you are climbin' over rocks? What are you jammin' to when you are slammin' into mudholes? If enough people reply, I might just have enough input to make a Wheelin' CD out of this!

When I'm actually wheeling, I have the radio turned off and windows down, listening for sounds that shouldn't be happening.

Right up until, it some good loud country music.

He's talking about Jean's not Jeeps, nice touch though.

My wheeling playlist has stuff like Trace Atkins, George Straight, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, Darryl Worley...

No music, windows down in the rocks. Anything loud and angry for high speed stuff and mud.

FM radio playing in the background - just so that I don't have to worry about changing disks

If I run out of signal - then I can just change to my FM-Transmitter that is built into my MP3 player and keep playin' whatever I have on it. 2gigs of MP3's play a long time! I have everything from old-school rock / metal to enya, new-school rock / metal to pop. I don't limit myself to one style of music - its all good!
