Mine's not really scary, just kinda freaky. One time my ex-gf and I were walking down the RR tracks, walking away from town, mind you. I looked up and saw a figure walking towards us on the tracks. As we drew closer, I could see that it was a man in his late 20's wearing a black leather jacket and jeans. We both said hi as we passed each other, and went about our business. Next thing I know, this guy has turned around and is walking towards us, and catches up with us. He starts talking and shooting the bull. As we get further away from town and into the middle of nowhere, this freak starts talking about finding bodies on the track, and how if he were to kill someone, he could dump them along the tracks in the brush and nobody would ever find the bodies. This is freakin' me and my girl out, so we make up some bs that she has to be home, and what not. I think that guy probably had plans to knock me out and rape her or something. This guy ended up being on the news about 3 days later because he got busted for raping some girl.

I know I've got some other experiences to share, but most of them occured during a drunken stupor in my late teens and early 20's, so I've gotta scrounge the brain for a bit.

I was just trying to make conversation.

But seriously you should have beat that guy to a pulp when he started talking about that stuff with your girl around and all. Or at least call the police.

Before she could fully stop, I jumped out of her honda and ran up to the car. I check the back passenger seat, then the front passenger seat, ran around the front, checked behind the driver to find no one but the female driver! The impact of the tree stopped the ford in it's tracks, blew out all the tires and the roof was inches from where the part of the door where your arm hangs out when the window was down. The woman seemed as if she was sloutched in her seat. I could see her still barely breathing but unresponsive and a stream of blood starting to run down her face. I yelled to my wife to call 911 and that only the driver was in the vehicle. I yelled to her to open her eyes if she could hear me and told her help was on the way! I wanted to help her so badly but I knew that I should not do anything for I could make matters worst. The tree blocked the entire road it was so big. Within minutes the fire department was there. I assisted with cutting the tree and removing it from the vehicle. The police investigators said she was dead on arrival.

I stepped back and thought that I might have been the last voice she heard before she passed on. The tree fell over from behind her and she never saw it coming. She did not break or swerve.

Since then when I see strange things happen, it never surprises me. For that was the most horrific/freak thing I have ever seen happen. My wife and I were the only witness to the accident. I also know that when it is your time, it is your time to go without any choice. Only the lord knows when that will be. So now I cheerish everything I have, everyday!!!
Double wow.

When I was 16 I was out riding around with my 3 buddies in a 240SX, the guy that owned the car was in the passengers side and the guy driving was the least plowed, and me and my other buddy were in the back seats. We were out on the back roads cruizing around and we hit a gravel road and my buddy thought it would be fun to do some power slides and stuff...you see where this is going. Anyway he got up to around 70 and then hit this curve and were sliding pretty good then the curve got sharper and last thing I remember we slide exactly sideways and hit the ditch and I remember the first hard thud and everything went black...

Woke up a minute or two later and I was sitting straight up in a field with my legs straight out slouched over. I raised my head and tried to figure out what was going on and started moving my arms and legs to see if anything was broken. Everything worked and I stood up and looked for the car. It was about 100 yards in the field laying on it's side. I jogged over to it to see if they were ok and the driver was bleeding onto the passengers window, (it was on it's side BTW) and the passenger had a broken hand, the guy in the back was in the seat I was in and was unresponsive, I opened the sunroof and yelled at them to wake up and got the front two out and we thought the guy in the back was dead. You could actually see the imprint of his head just behind the sunroof where he hit the roof. He finally woke up and later we got them to the hospital, but to this day and as many times as we've all replayed those events in our heads, none of us could figure out how I was ejected from the back seat, no windows were knocked out and the sun roof while it was the flip up kind was still intact. I literally had not a scratch on me.

Oh and for other freaky stuff, I work in a Haunted building in STL that se to house dead civil war soldiers in transit to their families. The morgue is still down there, it's been featured on Discovery channel before, and I work 5pm to 5am all alone in that wing of the building. There are a lot of wierd things that happen, but my mom is a self-proclaimed spiritualist and that kind of thing doesn't bother me, I've even caught myself talking to them when something wierd happends, none of them have answered yet, but that's a good thing

Oh and one more, I remembered.

I was on my home from work late one night about 11:30pm and it had been a looooooong day and I was basically on auto-pilot. As I was going down the interstate, I was in sort of a trance like daydream and all the sudden I "see" myself sitting at a red light, the light changed green and I started to go and WAM, I get t-boned by a white bronco ( I thought OJ was running again ) anyway it was scary enough to make me snap out of the daydream and I was like WOW that was wierd, anyway I was a few miles from my exit and my mom called me and asked me if I was ok, and I said yea why, and she said that she got a gut wrenching feeling I was in trouble and she had to make sure I was ok (BTW she's done this in the past when I was introuble or hurt, it's freaky but kind cool) anyway I started telling her about my daydream and at this point I was at my exit waiting for the green. About that time I was waiting for the light to change and my mom says to me on the phone, when it changes don't go your Angel is watching over you, so it changes and I sit there for 2-3 seconds and look both ways, nothing. I'm thinking ok, I made to much outta that or maybe it's meant for sometime in the future, but this is dumb. Just about the time I decide to go and take my foot off the brake, I push the gas a little and as I turn my head a WHITE BRONCO jumps the median and misses me by about 2 feet and runs off the other side of the ramp into a ditch and crashes...I freaked and told my mom who was still on the phone and she started crying. I waited around in shock for a minute and in about 20 seconds the cops that were chasing him showed up and pulled him out of the car, they took my statement and checked my vehicle for any damage, which tere wasn't any, but the cop told me he had just shot and killed a guy in a drug deal gone bad...

No that's freaky

There's a few that come to mind:

Driving home late one night after rescuing a buddy of mine who got stuck on a snow bank showing off for a girl (real original ). Anyway, I was at a 3 way intersection and this Subaru come hauling *** through the yellow light and loses control. He manages jump the curb and roll the car. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. Having become a certified First Responder earlier that school year I pretty much went in to automatic mode. I honestly can't tell the details of what I did from the time I told the second civilian on scene to called 911 to when I was filling out the police report. From what others have told me I pretty much did everything by the book. Unfortunately everything I did couldn't save the driver.

When I was 16 I was hospitalized for 2 weeks with Pneumonia in both my lungs. From what the doctor's say I was in such bad shape when I went to the ER that if I had waited more than hour to come in (like I had wanted to) I probably would not have made it. Nothing is scarier than being close to death first hand.

Watching the father figure in your life die while holding his hand is probably the most painful experience anybody could have. That is the only time I have ever been scared of myself. The only comfort is that I know I was the last thing he saw while he was alive.

The first girl I ever dated steadily went into a coma and died when I was 15 because she wasn't wearing a helmet while out on an ATV with her family. I offered her my motocross helmet earlier that week but she refused to take it because she didn't want to inconvienance me. It still sits in the same place in my closet to this day.

Man, I need a beer.

I was back east for about two months helping my uncle with his business. My wife and I had rented an up-stairs apartment in a very old house. Was really an interesting house, I’d guess maybe 150 – 200 years old, but was all done up with modern goodies.

The place came fully furnished, TV, beds, dishes every thing. Every thing seemed fine until I started noticing how some times the TV would be warm, or the coffee pot would still be hot after being off all day. I dismissed it as BS until one day the down stairs resident asked me if we had guests. She said she had herd people moving around and the sound of the TV being on. At first I thought maybe some one was screwing around with us, so I changed the locks, and put new locks on the windows, but still odd things still kept happening in the place. I really started to believe in ghosts, but still refused to really believe.

After a day of working in the shop, my girl and I drove back to the house and I pull into the drive way, hop outa m Jeep and look up at the living room window. And I about froze in my tracks. There staring down at us was this guy looking out the window. We had eye contact for a good min at least. I had my keys in hand and went running up the stairs, unlocked the door, burst though it and NOTHING. Not a damn thing was here. TV was warm, coffee pot was hot. Nothing else was out of place, windows were all still locked and I know I no one / thing came out the front door.

I know what I saw, and I can’t speak for my wife, but to this day I do not believe in ghosts.

okay, i have one thats pretty lame, but it scared the crap outta me.

few years back, it was a dark and stormy night. I was home alone for what ever reason, and it was absolutly pouring outside. i was in my basement (its finished) at the computer and my cat was sitting next to me. Suddenly the cat stands up looks straight at the wall in front of me (which is half underground, and the deck is above it) and starts growling. Suddenly there was a huge THUD from the other side of the wall. and the cat hisses and growls some more.

I freaked out. and ran upstairs and looked out the door. there was absolutly nothing there. nothing had fallen, and as i said, the part of the wall i was facing was under ground and beneath the deck......freakin weird.

oh, another one.

I had just built my brand new computer about 10 days earlier. and there was a large storm. so i save my game and as i go to shut it down there was a HUGE lightning flash, and then all of a sudden the computer made a massive POP noise the monitor went black i saw a huge spark and my right hand and foot REALLY hurt alot. I jumpped up and unplugged the computer.

well turns out some power lines got hit and fried a buncha stuff in our house, including my computer and ME.

the scary thing is that i got the final part of my computer replaced on the 19th day after i bought it, when you only have 20 days to return stuff. Also fried some phones and out gararge door opener, and my router. and me.
