Whats the deal with "CRAWL" Mag.?
I subscribed some time early last year (08), I paid for a 2 year subscription. I think I have received 4 issues. I have contacted them several times and have gotten a excuses why. I recently have had trouble with my local mail showing up 2 weeks late, in one instance went for a couple of days with out any mail at all. I went to the post office and they told me that they had been informed that that address was vacant....
I got it all straightened out. But my local book store still has the issue of Crawl on there shelf from months ago. Anyone know anything about Crawl Mag?

I'd be demanding a refund for sure. What a joke. They even made an appearance on Complaints.com: http://www.complaints.com/2008/march/13/CRAWL_MAGAZINE_163891.htm

Pirate4x4 is just plain hard to read with those meat heads doing nothing but yelling at each other and throwing up the middle-finger smileys.

I've received 3 magazines and the most recent one was about 8-9 months ago.

Yep, looks like they have experience ripping people off too. Sounds like the new owner did the same thing with a previous magazine. Started it up, produced a few copies, got some people to subscribe and ran off with there money. Its amazing how low and how much scum some people are.

What it sounds like is they may have hit hard times like alot of companys in the off road business. I've wheeled with the guys from Crawl magazine and found them to be a great group of people, willing to give you the shirts off there backs to help you when your broke out on the trail. So next time your having a hard time while out wheeling or not being able to pay a bill on time accuse yourself of ripping people off. And Soft 8 to call them low and scum really takes alot of balls to do on the web, lets see what other companys you guys can bad mouth with out knowing all the facts.

It's not that hard to find the answers to this stuff people. This gist of it is that Tim Piele appears to be a thief and a ******bag. If this is true:

Their current number is 425-503-4595, guys name is Mark. It sounds like Brandon was trying to get things off the ground again but lost steam. I don't think he has a lick of business sense though, thus the press release via myspace. And don't be so quick to accuse Tim of anything, there's no proof and after 5 calls to the police they told Brandon to drop it because nothing was ever stolen etc. The judge threw Brandon's lawsuit out because it didn't have merit and all of the money and stuff turned up in a storage unit one of the layers was in possession of. Made Brandon lok like a moron thus his posts all over the internet stopped.
Just an FYI, I know all parties and wish them luck. CRAWL was awesomeness. |
