Cartoon Network refuses to show SPeedy Gonzales cartoons because they are "politcally incorrect." Yet, they will show them on Cartoon Network in Mexico.

Right now, there are DVD sets that have some of the good WB cartoons on them. Best Buy has them as did Costco. Total of 3 volumes so far.

Politically Incorrect?? HOW? Man, I think people just sit around looking for something to be offended by...except of course, white people. You can slander them all you want, and nobody cares.

Looney Tunes is politically incorrect, yet Japanamation is considered ok? WHAT COUNTRY ARE WE LIVING IN? We have made a complete MESS of this world with all the Policially correct CRAP.

Exactly, I miss those same characters... to which I'll add Goofy, Donald Duck, as well as Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester P. Pu$$ycat (danged filter!), etc. The Liberals have taken all the good cartoons and made them politically incorrect.

they don't air these cartoons BECAUSE Japanimation is the new trent (although been around for years) and everyone is riding the wave of the animation market. I'm sure the X-generation people are asking "What happend to Mickey Mouse Cartoon?". Well times have changed and I am not saying SpongeBob Square Pants or any of the new Japanimation will becomes legends as any Walt Disney characters or WB characters, but that is jsut the market's demand. Unless kids and adults are showing an unusual HIGH demand for Bugs, I doubt we will see it anymore than we will now. Just my 2 cents.

I used to watch The Superfriends. If I got up early enough, I'd catch Land of the Lost.

I liked all the others as well Bugs, Daffy, Sylvester, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite.. I had know idea they were considered politically incorrect. You gotta be kidding me.

Superfriends, Bugs, Scooby Doo pre Scrappy, Tom & Jerry, heck even Batman, I loved them all.

And yes, I find Spongebob to be hilarious. I have no kids either. I can't help it.
