Whatever happened to Bugs Bunny cartoons?

Hey, whatever happened to Bugs Bunny/Roadrunner cartoons? What about Disney's Donald Duck and Goofy? I haven't seen them in AGES! Come to think of it, I don't see ANY cartoons on Saturday mornings anymore. They are just GONE. My wife's little 10 and 6 year old cousins were watching a Bugs Bunny DVD last week, and they really enjoyed them. I forgot how funny these cartoons still are!

Why are they not shown on television anymore??

I am sure the old Warner Brother's cartoons, Bugs, Yesemite etc... are no longer in favor due to political correctness...

They are still on sometimes. Based on my girlfriends 2 little boys Bugs Bunny cartoons aren't cool. They are 4 and 5.

I'm tired of flipping through and all you see is dumb sci fi cartoons with huge eyes. The animation is horrible and not even funny. The crap we feed our kids these days.....

everythings been replaced by that terrible japanamation **** and cartoons full of adult humor (which is good for us, but not little kids). i cant imagine what a difference it would have made with me if i grew up watching pokemon and spongebob instead of roadrunner and woody woodpecker..

I'm 35 and I have hours and hours of Bugs Bunny, Roadrunner (favorite) Popeye. As a matter of fact most of the TV I watch is cartoons. I aggree new cartoons suck!! They're not even funny, even a little spooky at times. When I was young Bugs Bunny was on for like 6 hours on Sat morning. I could go outside a cut a load of firewood and come back in and watch Bugs for an hour, go back out do some more work....come back in and have a snack and watch Bugs for an hour. Why doesn't anybody just make a Bugs Bunny channel.....24 hours of BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure you can catch them sometimes on Cartoon Network or Boomerang. Can't remember which one for sure but I have watched some of them recently.

It's crazy that I find stuff in this forum that I was just thinking about a couple days ago. Haha, I was thinking back on when I used to watch the Bugs and Daffy shows and those were the best. An hour or more of just that.

I don't know what kids do these days

not surprising at all....with all the looney toons DVDs warner has put out recently, it's just as well to buy em.

BTW - Ever hear Artie Lange's bit about Foghorn Leghorn. That's some funny chit, right there....

they're too violent much safer for kids to be watching some toy-related cr*p about a talking sponge or detective dog

I find it hard to believe that they're comparing japanimation and bugs bunny and finding bugs the more violent.

What really bothers me is how loud and flashy and plotless the new crap is... no wonder all the kids have ADD.
