In what timezone will the world end?

Well? It'll be the 21st here in less than 12 hours, but all of you in the states will have nearly a whole day left to live...

Well, the Mayans were in the central time zone, so its GMT -0600. It's currently 0817 there, so 15 hours, 43 minutes.

I'm going to be so pissed if it does happen. Last thing I want is flaming meteorites dinging my hood.

But when is THE END? Is it at 12:01 am the 21st or 11:59 pm just before the 22nd, or just some random point within that 24 hour period? I don't want to be caught off guard. I gave up drinking some time ago, but I'd like to go out with at least one last shot of bourbon warming my belly.
