Ok, it's story time. I have a bunch of stories, but I will just share 2.

One night, when I was 18, I came home around 1AM. I always slipped in real quietly so I would not wake up anyone in the house and I would not turn on any lights. I'd just brush my teeth and hit the hay. Well, I laid down on my bed on my side facing the window. It was summer out, so I always kept the window open a crack. The moon was very bright. I had some low shrubbery in front of the window surrounded by crushed stone. Now, I was still very wide awake, sober, and staring out the window. It was so quiet. Then, I started to hear some sounds right outside the window. Something on the stones. Then, I saw a hooded profile walk past the window. I almost shat myself and had a WTF moment. I froze for about 30 seconds. I shot up and ran to my dad's room, woke him and we grabbed his shotgun, which he kept by the bed. We ran outside in our underwear to find this *****r. The is a huge drainage ditch next to our house and I think the perp ran into it and fled. It is always empty this time of year. The whole family was freaked out after this, because a couple had been murdered in there home less than a year before. It is not common around here because it is a small farm community.

2nd story,

I was 16 and working at a local burger joint. It was devils night, and I was closing the store. I was the last one to leave at around 12:30am. I pulled out of the parking lot onto the main road which was deserted. As soon as I pulled out I noticed head light in the rearview mirror, and was thinking where the H did that car come from. So I drive down this road for 1 mile to the next Rd. The car is tailgating me the whole time. I turn and drive 2 miles to the next road and turn. Car still tailgating me the whole time. Now I am think that this is too much for coincidence. So I think, ok devils night or whatever, stupid prank. But, then they start harassing me. Getting real close to and hitting my bumper. flashing brights constantly. driven up next to me and trying to intimidate. Now keep in mind, im driving a little 65HP chevette. If I had the jeep I would have just went offroad and lost them. Also it was a pitch black night, and I was in a very rural area.
So i am starting to get a little nervous. I am hoping that I don't break down or get run off the road. I don't know if they want to hurt me or whatever. As soon as I start getting close to home, I remember that no one is home. I don't want to pull into the drive because, first I don't want them to know where I live, and 2nd I would have never made it to the door before they got to be. So I keep flying around the dirt back roads trying to lose them. I drive by the house one more time and see that my dad just got home. I pull into the driveway, which is about 400 feet long and straight. they other car stops at the end and turns off its lights and engine. I ran into the house and told my dad the situation. He grabbed the trusty shotgun and we stepped outside. Whoever was in the car must have saw the shotgun, because we heard the motor start, no lights, and they slowly back out of the drive and sped away.
Anyways, to make a long story longer. I found out about a month later, a girl I worked with wanted to ask me to some dance, so she dumped current boyfriend before she asked me. She asked me I said no. Well the BF was really pissed, she was really pissed, so the BF thought he would get even with me. go figure.

Forgot about a couple good "dead body stories."

Whe I was around 13, A friend and I would bike to the nearby old abandon house and just hang out or rummage around. We planned to check out this one house that was about 2 miles away next. Before we got there a guy that we both knew walk in it to look for some popcans or whatever. Well he flipped over an old frig and there was a dead woman under it. He called the police and it made the 5 oclock news and everything. He got to be on TV and me and my friend were so bummed that we did not make the discovery. Kinda weird, I know.


My former brother inlaw was riding his bike home through a wooded patch in the city where he lived, he was in is early teens.. It was a well traveled route by bikes. It was around the dusk hour when it is hard to see and the wind was kicking pretty good. He started getting alittle scared cuz the woods are creepy at night and he was hearing stuff. Then something knocked him off his bike. He turn over and looked up, It was a dead body swinging from a branch. I guess it was a suicide but some suspected it was foul played. needless to say, it freaked him out pretty good.

The scariest...... Would have to be the time I was in the woods. I was just walking in the woods and came across 6 black bears. They where all just chilling untill they saw me and i could hear them say... FOOD! So i put my dukes up and fought like a man. Took out the first three bears with a 1,2,3 punch kicked one in the crotch and the other two ran away because they where to scared. I dont know if this was scarier for me or the bears?

When I woke up on Sept. 11 2001. Turned on my TV, which I left on ESPN the night before, I was watching the highlights of the Broncos beating the Giants (and poor Ed snapping his leg) and I watched a building topple. I mean wtf?! That whole day was a long long nightmare.

2nd would have to be a few months later when they evacuated my dorm, during the anthrax scare, because they found a white substance all over the floor in the basement.

Bad acid. thought some people were trying to get me. Called the cops. they showed up to help. I know they could tell something was up with me. But my Dad talked them out of locking me up.
