that's better. House on Haunted Hill had such potential. Had some truly creepy aspects. but the f-bomb every 2 seconds took me out of it completely. |

figured i'd join in. personally the scariest movie i've ever seen hands down is Fire In The Sky. something about it just scares the hell out of me.
growing up Predator scared the **** out of me(hello-invisible alien hunting you in the woods!!!) lol. top 5: Fire In The Sky Predator The Thing(kurt and carpenter) The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the one i'm very surprised not to see...Hellraiser honorably mention: The Descent(when the girls get attacked and you see it for the first time on the camera behind her was freaky!!!) yeah, i'm a movie nerd. i have over 3000 movies and tv show series. i have no life.  |

Paranormal Activity was decent, last 20 minutes got me on the edge of my seat. Grudges are stupid, not scary at all IMO. Personally, Requiem for a Dream gave me chills throughout most of the movie. Not meant to be a scary movie, just messed up stuff. I didn't think Prom Night was scary at all...or Blair Witch. I have yet to see The Exorcist, which I hear is pretty scary. Oh, and the new Friday the 13th sucked too. I watched about 20 minutes of Sixth Sense when I was 7 and it completely freaked me out. That about covers it.
