I wear a Omega Speedmaster Automatic everyday. It keeps pretty good time. But losses about a minute a week. I'm sure if I didn't take it off at night and for multiple hours on the weekends it would keep better time.

I also have a Lumi Nox watch that it pretty rugged. I wear it wheeling or camping.

It's only worth more than you paid for it if you sell it.

I blew $500 on a Tag Heuer, which normally sold for about $1k. The one I have is discontinued, but looks similar to this one:

It's simple, reliable, durable, accurate, water resistant.

I've got a few watches. Probably my favorite one is the titanium Citizen that I got about 10 years ago. Paid around $600 for it. I also have a Accutron (Bulova) that I like (found it on a construction site!), and the most valuable watch I have is a Piaget (square face, 18k gold with leather band) that I found in a hotel corridor in Las Vegas . Last time I had it appraised (about 15 years ago) it was in the neighborhood of $3,000

Watch? Why don't you just buy a pretty bracelet? Doesn't your cell phone have a clock on it?

I've never understood wearing a watch ... I don't wear one, haven't since I was a kid. Watches are just jewelry. They have only one more function than a bracelet, to tell the time and there are clocks everywhere you look. Just from my desk I can see four devices with the time on them, so I don't need to carry a little clock around on my wrist.

All my vehicles have clocks, my cell phone has a clock, I have numerous electrical appliances with clocks, all the computers and tools at work have a clock built in.....I don't see any need for carrying a watch.

I don't carry my Fossil anymore. I keep it at the bottom of the lake ever since last summer. I know right where it is. And its waterproof, so no worries.

I have a gold Seiko that I got from my employer for 25 years of service, never wear it. The watch I wear everyday is a Jeep watch my wife bought me for Christmas six years ago at a local Jeep dealer for $29.00. I love it , its never missed a beat. 5 pages and i'm the only one. I AM SHOCKED!!!!
