What kind of watch do you wear?

I've been borrowing my dad's Citizen Quartz for about a year now, ever since my Breitling Automatic got stolen. I'm looking for something in the Diving / Aviator style watch. Not really wanting to spend more than about $1000...

What do you have for suggestions? Where's a good place to shop?

Ive been wearing the same watch since fifth grade. it was a gift from my grandmother... i think it broke around 8th grade... still every year or soo i get a link added... i only wear it for purely decorative reasons..., i have a cell phone to tell me time... i figure if i buy a new watch ill just break it eventually, this one has been with me for so long why get rid of it...

i recommend you do that!!!

I have a British military watch that I wear sometimes.....looks similar to this but with a drab green band...I think it was $150?

I've yet to see the point of a $1k+ watch when a 30 buck Timex will do the job....People say oh, but my xyz high buck watch will last a lifetime....Who wants to wear the same watch for the rest of their life?

BTW, I wear a 75 buck Harley Davidson logo Bulova. 75 bucks was too rich for my blood, so I shopped around until I scored a new one on eBay for 40 bucks.

I like the looks of this one, but its used.... and that's kinda expensive for a used watch.

I have no problem paying for quality, but anything over a couple hundred bucks is just spending money for the sake of spending money in my estimation.

... just like I'd never buy a $60,000 bike, I'd buy 4 $15,000 bikes

Breitling Emergency Titanium...but a little out of the $1000 range.

How about a Fortis? I really dig their Fortis Flieger (flyer). Tag's are always nice too...

I know that watch you need, when we decomed VS-41 they came out with one for our squadron, it was like 5000 retail, but for us it was something like 2500, thats a hell of a deal compared to 5000, plus you'd ALWAYS remember the Fighting Shamrocks!

I wear a Fossil watch and I can't leave the house without a watch. I have a nice Citizen, but I hardly ever wear it. Basically, I don't like buying expensive things if I am not going to get use out of them. A $100 watch looks good, keeps time, and last quite a long time...the Fossil has been around 10 years now.

Def. pretty cool. I like everything except for the battery thing. I'd much rather have an automatic.

eh. all you high class people.

i wear a rugged timex with a cloth/velcro brand.
its time to replace it.
been looking at g-shocks with the atomic time.
maybe i'll spend 100 on it.
thats like more then i should spend on a watch though.
