here is my 12 year old ACD Oreo. she still plays, she greets me every day when i come home with her toys and sloppy kisses and i wouldn't have it any other way. dog has been through a ton. anal cancer, got hit by a car, etc etc.

shes as gentle with my 4 month old daughter as i could imagine. she licks her and loves her. shes amazing with kids and with everyone in general. amazing dogs, i will have another.

Yeah, Heelers are a blast....been trying to talk my wife into a second one for a year, or so. She's not going for it yet. All the things I love about him, are the things that drive her nuts....personally, I wouldn't know what to do if my dog wasn't a step ahead of me the whole time. Never have to wonder where he is....I'm on about 5 acres...and, unless he's after a deer, he's right next to me. Doesn't even really like being out there unless I'm with him. Glad to hear your's is still "kickin". Colby has a plate in one of his hind legs...TPLO surg after a frisbee incident....caused a slight limp, but you'd never know it at top speed! Just brings whatever I've thrown back a bit slower than he used to.

lol thats awesome.

yea that leaving thing is heeler nature. our dog won't leave our yard. even if her toy goes into the street she stops at the edge of the grass and waits for us to get it. even if dogs are walking on the sidewalk, she'll stay at the edge of the grass. its quite an anomaly if you ask me. lol

they truely are amazing dogs. this is my families second and i will definitely have more.

Trixie, black lab mix but really looks 100% like a lab only she is 40lbs and probably won't grow any bigger then say 45lbs. Will be a year in july sometime, adopted her about 2 months ago. I actually sold my ram then got her a week later and decided I needed another truck or jeep so got her an XJ since she was messing up my car too much

GF has a pit beagle mix and a normal size black lab but no pics of them.

from what I understand you can't post pics till a certain post count so if that doesn't work if some would be kind enough to do the quote thing. Thanks.

Bunch of great dogs in here!

I have two cats. I can leave for a week, come back and they're just sitting there looking at me. No poop on the floor, no mess at all. Cats are cool creatures. I make sure I leave them plenty of food and water before I leave.

Here's my Yellow Lab, Shiloh with 2 of his favorite things. A tennis ball and the passenger seat of the Jeep. He'll be 3 in September.

My dog is a Labrador/Catahoula Hound mix. We got her from the pound when she was 2 months old. Her name is Rubi (Yup, the Rubicon).
