With the rectangular fiberglass tailgate, that Jeep is a 1996 or older XJ.

.

A recent Gallup public opinion poll shows the NRA, at 58% approval, has a higher approval rating than either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.

Seeing as the title says "jeep Grand Cherokee on fire" I'd say its a Grand Cherokee.

Except for the melting and burning rectangular tailgate, and the non-flammable black steel bumper, I guess it could be a Grand.

It definitely an XJ. Look at the rectangular tail lights and how square the top of the rear hatch is.

my jeep almost looked like this a few weeks ago. driving around off road i accumulated a ton of dead leaves in my suspension and underbody. i rolled under to check everything out after hitting the trail only to see my oxygen sensor engulfed in flame. managed to blow it out and push the rest of the leaves on the ground. im glad i was under there looking and not cruising down the road fanning the flames.
